Lynel Mario

What if... you could capture a Lynel?!



I think it would be pretty darn Fantastic! What do you think? Also, Goodness! It's been way too long since I've posted any NEW art here, so I had to draw something quick and brand new...

Anyway, it's a silly idea I had come up with yesterday, with the excitement of the upcoming Super Mario Odyssey game in October, and with the new The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Expansion Pack 1 around the corner...

Also, I started to really like Lynels. Kinda a shame I have to kill 'em. I'd rather have them as some sort of ally. I used to be terrible at beating them, but now I can easily slay Silver Lynels without taking a hit! (Unless I'm dumb and I mess up my parry or dodge. But oh well...)

They're incredibly tough enemies in BotW. Even more-so than the proper sub-bosses of this game. It's insane! Even the weakest Red ones are tough in the beginning! Expect so many Game Overs the first time... But once you get the hang of the advanced techniques of the game, they become easier to slay. (And now there's a Gold Lynel in the upcoming Hard Mode DLC)
